BMW 7 Series



The BMW 7-Series is BMW's flagship car that was first launched in 1977 and brought to India in 2007. Since then the car has received and available in a single body-style.

However, in between the birth of fourth and fifth generations, the BMW 7-Series had received a complete facelift of the exterior design in 2005 and of the interior in 2007. When the exterior was revamped, the 7 Series was amde sleeker by reducing the Bangle Butt design that was further accentuated with new taillights and a reduced trunk lid , impressive headlights, and kidney grille. In 2007 when the interior was revamped, the 7 Series received electrically-adjustable mirrors as standard equipment on all 7-Series variants

The next generation 7 Series is also adorned with innovative technologies like Dynamic Damper Control and Integral Active Steering that adds to the joy and comfort of driving. Dynamic Driving Control is a technology that adjusts dampers infinitely in the inbound and rebound strokes in accordance to the road as well as driving conditions. This new technology helps to absorb potholes and bumps on Indian roads. The intelligent Dynamic Driving Control also offers the driver four different stages of driving: comfort, normal, sport, and sport plus to deliver a thrilling driving experience. Furthermore, the new Integral Active Steering improves agility and performance of the car by controlling the steering angle of both rear and the front. Depending on the movement of the car, this innovation reduces the turning circle by up to 70%.



The steering wheel is wrapped with finest quality leather fabric and is accentuated with multifunction controls including audio controls, cruise control functions, and voice control function. The attractive dashboard with four analogue instruments showing speed, rpm, fuel level, and engine oil temperature along with black panel technology displaying a black matt surface when ignition is switched off adds to the beauty of the car's interior. The ambience is further highlighted with chrome touches, impressive cockpit, high-resolution TFT screen, and functional bookmarks that stores details of the navigation system, audio tracks, and important telephone numbers.

The safety features equipped in the new BMW 7-Series include driver and front passenger airbag, head airbags, side airbags, inner-vented front and rear disc brakes, central locking with electronic immobilizer, dynamic stability control, Runflat tyres, safety battery terminal, crumple zones, and inertia-reel seat belts.

Innovative safety features like BMW Night Vision, Head Up Display, BMW i-Drive, and Brake Energy Regeneration further ensures higher level of safety.
